A suh mi duh mi tingWe're not ones to brag (OK, maybe sometimes). But, since you asked, here's some more about how we got started.
It All Goes Back to Mom
Well, maybe not your mom, but Ray Simmonds’ mom. Ray watched his mother cook the most amazing traditional Jamaican food for years. After being raised in Jamaica, he came to the US at the age of 13. He found himself cooking the food his mother cooked, with his own twist, adding his own style and flavoring. Now, at the urging of his wife and daughter, the family has opened their own Jamaican restaurant in downtown Fredericksburg. Thanks Mom!
